Job Title: Domestic Cesspool Technician
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
About the Role:
Are you not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what most wouldn’t? We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable, and physically capable individual to take on one of the most important — and most overlooked — jobs in the country: emptying domestic cesspools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate specialist vacuum tankers
- Safely empty, clean, and dispose of waste from domestic cesspools
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and discretion
What You’ll Need:
- Full UK driving licence (HGV preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and no fear of getting your hands dirty
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Basic mechanical skills a bonus
- Experience in waste management or drainage preferred, but full training can be provided
